Haggai 1:8-10

⁸ Go up to the ^[a]mountains, bring wood, and ^(A)rebuild the ^[b]temple, that I may be ^(B)pleased with it and be ^(C)honored,” says the Lord. ⁹ “^(D)You ^[c]start an ambitious project, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I ^(E)blow it away. Why?” declares the Lord of armies. “It is because of My house which ^(F)remains desolate, while each of you runs to his own house. ¹⁰ Therefore, because of you the ^(G)sky has withheld ^[d]its dew, and the earth has withheld its produce.
